Construction Project Manager
Bradford Custom Homes & Remodeling
Construction Project Manager
Location: North Metro Atlanta (Office in Acworth, GA)
You don't just manage projects, you build experiences.
You're the kind of builder who loves being on site, walking the job, talking with homeowners, and making sure every detail lines up with the bigger vision. At Bradford Custom Homes & Remodeling, you'll lead high-end custom homes and large-scale remodels for clients who care deeply about how their homes support their health, focus, and performance. If you're a field-driven Project Manager who thrives on ownership, client interaction, and high standards, this could be your next home.
Bradford Custom Homes & Remodeling designs and builds intentionally crafted custom homes and remodeling projects across the nicer areas of the greater Atlanta market, think Sandy Springs, Buckhead, and up through north metro communities. Our projects range from complex remodels to multi-million-dollar custom homes.
We're evolving our "Better For You" culture:
- We care about building homes that support our clients' physical and mental well-being.
- We think about light, air, water, materials, and flow, not just square footage and finishes.
- Our team is made up of high-performing, growth-minded people who take ownership, set goals, and genuinely care about why we build, not just what we build.
If you enjoy working with clients who value quality, thoughtfulness, and intentional design, and you share those values, you'll fit right in.
As a Construction Project Manager, you are the builder in charge of the job from start to finish. This is a field-based role managing a portfolio of high-end custom homes and remodeling projects across north metro Atlanta.
You will:
- Own the project on site, schedule, quality, budget, and client communication.
- Act as the day-to-day face of Bradford for homeowners and trade partners.
- Coordinate closely with our pre-construction team (design, architecture, selections) as projects move into production.
- Keep jobs organized, safe, and moving, while maintaining a calm, professional presence with discerning clients.
You'll typically work out of your truck and job sites, with weekly in-office production meetings (Wednesdays in Acworth) and additional visits to the office as needed. This is not a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Own project delivery from handoff to closeout for high-end custom homes and complex remodels.
- Lead the job site daily: coordinate and schedule trades, vendors, and inspections to keep work flowing.
- Manage budgets and job costs in line with contract values and company standards; review and approve invoices, change orders, and allowances.
- Communicate with homeowners regularly, providing updates, setting expectations, and educating them on options and decisions.
- Collaborate with pre-construction and design teams to ensure plans, selections, and specifications are fully understood and executed accurately in the field.
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites that reflect the Bradford brand and are comfortable for clients to visit.
- Monitor quality and details throughout the project, punch issues early, not at the end.
- Anticipate and solve problems, proactively addressing schedule conflicts, scope questions, and site conditions.
- Document progress and issues through photos, notes, and project management systems.
- Participate in weekly production meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of processes, standards, and client experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Residential Project Manager/Superintendent/Builder for custom homes and/or large-scale remodels.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods, sequencing, and building codes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, trades, and timelines in the field.
- Experience with high-end custom homes in markets similar to Sandy Springs, Buckhead, or other affluent neighborhoods.
- Background working closely with design and architecture teams.
- Track record of building strong, long-term relationships with trade partners and vendors.
- A personal interest in intentional living, performance-focused environments, or health/wellness-oriented design.
- Comfortable leading homeowner meetings and communicating with high-expectation clients.
- Solid financial awareness: tracking budgets, reviewing job costs, and working with change orders.
- Proficiency with basic technology and construction/project management software (any modern platform; we'll train on our tools).
- Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and ability to travel daily to job sites across the north metro Atlanta area (typically within about an hour of Acworth).
- Ability to attend in-person Wednesday production meetings at the Acworth office and additional in-office meetings as needed.
